Telefe is Argentina's leading free-to-air television network, with over three decades broadcasting news and entertainment nationwide, and today also a benchmark in live and on-demand content distribution through mitelefe.com.

Telefe is one of the leading free-to-air TV channels in Argentina, home to mitelefe.com. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the channel needed to modernize its infrastructure, on a much tighter timeline than a project of this scale would normally allow.
The results were not long in coming. Here's how Telefe's team describes it:
Telefe faced a particular problem: its streaming operation was integrated with Paramount, which meant it had no proprietary, specific consumption metrics. Without that visibility, it was difficult to accurately estimate the infrastructure capacity needed and plan the migration.
"We chose Mediastream because they demonstrated the agility, flexibility, and technical commitment needed to integrate as a strategic partner, ensuring the success of a critical migration ahead of the World Cup in record time." — Hernán Príncipe, Telefe
Given the tight timeline, the key was constant communication between both teams, with regular check-in meetings and fast response times whenever issues arose. The integration process turned out to be smooth and agile, and once in production, the platform performed at the level required.
"Constant communication, quick response times, commitment from both sides, and a shared goal made it possible to carry out a complex migration in a very tight timeframe, achieving a successful transition with no impact on our users." — Juan Pablo Giorza, Telefe
The most important result of this whole process is that the migration was completed as planned, meeting all committed deadlines, and Telefe now has the consumption visibility it previously lacked.
Telefe's addition to Mediastream's client portfolio in the country strengthens its leadership in the Argentine market, joining a distinguished list that already includes major players such as Radio Mitre and Aire Digital.
