In this new edition of the NAB Show, we are unveiling the latest releases from Mediastream—the #mediatech streaming platform focused on efficiency, distribution, and monetization, powered by artificial intelligence.

“We are very excited about this NAB Show. This is the year we’ve introduced the most features as Mediastream, and they all point to the same goal: helping media companies reach the next level in efficiency, operation, distribution, monetization, and the real-world application of AI. We invite you to come see us and get a firsthand look at everything we are launching.”— Luis Ahumada, CEO of Mediastream.

New Features

1. Fast Channel 2.0:

Create FAST channels in record time using the Live and VOD content you already have on Mediastream. This new version automates the entire operational cycle: planning, programming, EPG, advertising, and global distribution, featuring native integration with Amagi.

  • Features: Dynamic blocks, Linking function for automatic grid adjustment, global EPG distribution, native Dynamic Ad Insertion, and SRT / FAST Light output for YouTube and detailed broadcast logs.
  • Best for: Media outlets looking to open new revenue streams without adding infrastructure, launching an operational TV channel with global distribution and ads from day one.

2. Shorts OTT:

The vertical video trend has arrived at Mediastream with a new experience designed for agile, mobile-first consumption (9:16) featuring infinite scroll.

  • Features: Vertical video interface with infinite scroll, "Show" module for open, paid, or login-gated content, simple and secure uploading, and integrated advanced monetization.
  • Best for: Media companies wanting to capture new audiences with short-form content without users ever leaving their own OTT platform.

3. SGAI with Google Ads:

We are one of the first Google partners worldwide to offer this capability. SGAI (Server-Guided Ad Insertion) technology combines the best of SSAI and CSAI: the server defines the insertion point, and the player executes the ad.

  • Features: Available for Live with Google DAI SGAI; formats include L-Shape, Side-by-Side, and Picture-in-Picture; activation in just a few clicks within the Mediastream Platform.
  • Best for: Media outlets seeking higher ad revenue without disrupting the user experience, utilizing high-impact formats, better fill rates, and live personalization.

4. Smart Flow:

Smart Flow eliminates the friction of manual steps like uploading, transcribing, and distributing. It is the new automation module for the Mediastream Platform that connects your workflows into intelligent, self-triggering processes.

  • Real-world Example: You upload a video. Smart Flow automatically generates a transcript, extracts metadata, creates a blog post, publishes it, waits five days, uploads it to YouTube, and then archives it to S3 or Google Drive—all without manual intervention.
  • Features: Automated cross-module workflows, end-to-end ingest and publishing management, natural language flow creation via AI, and pre-designed templates.
  • Best for: Content teams managing high volumes who need to scale without increasing operational friction.

5. MoAI:

Our AI platform continues to expand, offering real-world tools that save up to 40x the time in content management and distribution.

  • Features: Updated audio and image models, and integration with Nano Banana to create OTT-ready images from simple prompts.
  • Best for: Teams looking to truly leverage AI natively within their workflow without the need for external integrations.

6. MCP: Model Context Protocol

The Mediastream Platform now features its own MCP server. Now, models like Claude or ChatGPT can connect directly to your media business to query metrics, VOD/AOD catalogs, and live signals in real-time using natural language.

  • Capabilities: Direct access to audience data and assets; the ability to analyze and cross-reference data through natural language to accelerate editorial and commercial decisions.
  • Best for: Bridging the gap between raw data and actionable decisions, moving AI from experimentation to concrete use cases for content and monetization.

7. Adobe Premiere UXP for Media

We are introducing our new UXP extension for Adobe Premiere, which connects directly to our Media module. Editors can now download assets and upload finished pieces directly to Mediastream without unnecessary intermediate steps.

  • Features: Direct connection between Adobe Premiere and Mediastream, integrated publishing workflows, and seamless asset management.
  • Best for: Production teams that need to bridge the gap between editing and distribution, eliminating manual or duplicate processes.
