Industry Leaders Gather at Successful Mediastream Day Mexico

MEXICO CITY – July 15, 2025Mediastream is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of Mediastream Day Mexico 2025, the first stop on its anticipated global tour. Held on July 10 in Mexico City, the event brought together a significant and distinguished audience of leaders and professionals from the Mexican digital ecosystem, fulfilling its primary objective: to foster constructive dialogue about the present and future of streaming in the region.

Luis Ahumada, CEO of Mediastream, offered a detailed overview of the progress of streaming in Mexico, highlighting emerging trends and opportunities, and how the creation of proprietary OTT platforms is the major bet for brands and media in this era of "Connected Mexico." Luis also shared an in-depth analysis of the significant shift that CTV and OTT bring to the sector, explaining how these technologies not only expand advertising inventory and offer new formats but also elevate value for brands.

Fernando Cheong, CTO of Mediastream, concluded with a fascinating demonstration of MoAI, Mediastream's advanced Artificial Intelligence solution. In his presentation, Cheong showcased MoAI's capabilities in action to optimize operational efficiency through transcriptions, automatic generation of titles and metadata, translation, creation of highlights and chapters, and automatic publication of clips or shorts in vertical format.

One of the most anticipated moments of the morning was the panel "Navigating the New Era: Challenges and Opportunities for TV and Radio in Mexico," which featured the participation of Iván Marchant (VP Latam, Comscore), Emilio Aliaga (VP TV Azteca Digital), Isaid Mera (Digital Director, Grupo Fórmula), and Felipe del Castillo (Strategic Partnerships Manager, Google), and was moderated by Jhonathan Olivares, Country Manager Mexico for Mediastream. The discussion offered essential perspectives on the current dynamics and future challenges of the industry.
